Growing up in Silicon Valley as high-school best friends, we became engineers and saw firsthand how technology can be used to solve real-world problems.

We're Julia and Rebeca, and we're building Apparel Assist to tackle clothing waste using AI—starting with something simple: making it easier for people to let go of clothes they no longer need.

We grew up wearing hand-me-downs. Today, we choose them—because they're an affordable, sustainable alternative to fast fashion. That mindset shaped our mission: reduce waste, extend the life of clothing, and rethink how we interact with what we own.

Clothing pickup is just the beginning. Our long-term vision is to build intelligent tools that help archive, understand, and responsibly reuse clothing at scale.
